Is there a free laser measure app?
Phones do not have laser distance meters, but LiDAR-equipped iPhones and iPads can measure with depth sensing. MeasurePro measures whole rooms, not just single distances.
Is a phone measuring app as accurate as a laser meter?
Generally no, for single critical distances. Use a laser meter or tape for anything you will order to, and the app for room layout and documentation.
